Does Guidy store screenshots of my screen?
No. By default, Guidy processes screen information only to provide guidance and does not permanently store screenshots of your activity.
How does Guidy process my data?
When you ask Guidy a question, the application captures screenshots of your screen and sends them to trusted AI providers so it can understand the context and guide you accurately. These screenshots are used solely to generate a response and are not retained for longer than 30 minutes on any of our systems. We do not build user profiles, and your screenshots are never used to train public AI models.
Is Guidy taking screenshots even when I’m not using it?
No. Guidy is active only when you ask questions and it responds. During the rest of the time the program is in ‘sleep’ mode and does not collect any data from your machine.
Can Guidy access my files?
No. Guidy does not browse, open, or read files on your computer unless you explicitly choose to share information with it.
Does Guidy know what I’m typing?
No. Guidy is designed to help you navigate software, not monitor your activity.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your interactions with Guidy are not used to train public AI models.

Guidy sends the minimum information necessary to trusted AI providers for processing. This may include screenshots of your screen and the questions you ask. We do not store screenshots for longer than 30 minutes, and your data is never used to train public AI models. We are committed to data minimization and only share the information required to deliver the service.
